Privacy & disclaimer
Your profile is yours, and your contact details stay private until you say yes.
This page is informational, not legal advice. Please verify anything you rely on.
What we collect
When you create your profile we use your name and, if you add your LinkedIn, your public professional background to draft your profile and your needs and offers. You review and edit everything before it is visible to anyone.
If you fill in the intake on the home page without creating an account, we store the email, name, needs, and offers you shared so we can introduce you to the right person. This is never shown publicly. You can ask us to delete it at any time by emailing intros@superintro.app.
Who can see you
Nothing about you is visible until you create your profile. After that, visibility follows the audience you pick for each post: public posts and your profile page are visible to anyone with the link (that is what makes a shared post work as a warm referral), while posts to your connections or to a group are visible only to that audience and are never used to match you with strangers.
If you want to share more personal needs, you can make your profile private. A private profile is unlisted: it stays off search, off the home feed, and out of the matchmaker, and is reachable only by people you give your direct link to. A private member posts to their connections or groups, never publicly. You can switch this on during onboarding or any time in Settings.
Introductions
We never share your email or make an introduction without a clear yes from both people. An introduction email goes out only after you and the other person have each opted in. Connecting always works this way, whether through your feed, someone's profile, or an in-person QR scan: it is a request the other person approves, never automatic.
Emails we send
We email you when someone responds to a post of yours, when a mutual yes becomes an introduction, when you get a new message while you are away, and once a week with a short digest of suggested matches. About a week after you join we also send a one-time invitation to share feedback. Every notification type can be turned off individually in Settings, and we only ever email members: we never email someone who has not joined.
Blocking and reporting
You can block anyone from their profile or from your chat with them. Blocking removes any connection and conversation between you and stops them from connecting with, messaging, or seeing you. You can also report a person or a post, which sends it to us for review.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. This permanently removes your profile, posts, connections, and messages. If you sign in again later with the same method, you start fresh as a new member.
